I left behind the corporate clothing and politics to be a bookkeeper. We dreamed and schemed The Admin Angels to existence during 5:30am runs, rain, or shine, and shared many chats about a need for affordable expertise. We share a love of a good coffee or beer, we’ll be the last off the dance floor at a party, and we laugh a lot – usually at ourselves.
In winter you will find me bunking off work to fill my happiness barometer – a passion for our great outdoors, particularly snowboarding.
Significant accounting and commercial experience has given me a passion for the many small businesses that are the backbone of our economy. -
Heather Sumpter
Accountant and Bookkeeper
I have spent many years in Chartered Accountants Offices, working with various entities and industries. I love working with clients, and think we offer a personal service.
No stuffy environment here, we love to have music playing and you will usually find me in Jeans and a t-shirt I understand the art of juggling family and business and the importance of a good support network and a great coffee.
Passionate about health, fitness and travel. I spend many an hour walking the dogs, biking and just enjoying what nature has to offer. -
Michelle Reid
Accountant and Bookkeeper
Having worked as an accountant in a Chartered Accountants firm for the last 14 years, I realised that my passion was helping people on a day to day basis, and not just at year end. The importance of working with clients every day, understanding their business and where they are heading, and being their adviser on a more personal level is what I was striving for. I have watched The Admin Angels grow from when they started and was inspired by what Nic and Heather were achieving. It had been my goal to join them for a few years.
So, in June 2021, I was lucky enough to secure a role in their firm, becoming an Admin Angel with a little extra to offer, that being Tax and Financial Statement knowledge. I have known Heather since our children were little and have known Nic for many years too, having already worked with them both many years ago. I absolutely love working with our team. We manage to complement each other and work really well together, providing our clients with a fantastic range of knowledge, that they can use from the smallest of things right through to the nitty gritty.
Our work environment is very relaxed, with coffee available all day, music playing and pets to work days. Sometimes I forget I am at work!
As for social activities, I do not do many, as I am busy with my children and grandchildren. For those who know me, know, I will always have an excuse not to exert myself.
I am living the dream……... what more can I say. -
Megan Harrbridge
Bookeeper
I grew up watching my parents run their own small business and have always had a passion for helping the little guys. My working life has been in accounts/administration for various small-to-medium family-owned businesses, with a few years spent as an accounting and tax administrator in a small, chartered accountancy firm.
Hiking and Biking are my after-hours passions, with a bit of sneaky wakeboarding or snowboarding when the opportunity presents itself.
I had been on the receiving side of The Admin Angels service and loved the energy and knowledge Nic & Heather provided, so, when a coincidental bump into Nic in town provided an opportunity to me to join their team, I leapt at it!
